Dr. Gardner has extensive experience in laparoscopic surgery. His favorite part of his job is being able to identify and fix a problem for someone. He enjoys the trust engendered in the physician-patient relationship, and counseling people through difficult experiences while helping them make decisions that align with their goals.

“I cherish the trust that my patients give me, and I strive to honor it,” he says. “I aim to help people make decisions that respect who they are as people as well as the nature of their surgical disease.”

Dr. Gardner loves living in Portland because of the great restaurants, plays, music, and art, all within a short drive of some of the most scenic wilderness in the world. He is also a voracious reader and an avid cook.
