- Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery
Dr. Stacy Geisler is the first woman to be a certified diplomate of the American Board of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery in the state of Oregon.
Dr. Geisler’s heart and mission for her practice is to provide excellent, compassionate and individualized surgical care for those in need. This principle guides everything that she does.
Raised in northern California, Dr. Geisler attended the University of California at Davis while serving as a firefighter for Cal Fire. Her internship with an oral and maxillofacial surgeon while an undergraduate student at UC Davis motivated her to pursue becoming a surgeon herself. Following graduation from UC Davis, she completed her Doctor of Dental Surgery at Case Western Reserve in Cleveland, OH in 1992; surgical training at University of Texas, Houston in 1996 and finally a Doctor of Philosophy in Epidemiology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2001. Her training includes a Fellowship from the National Institute of Health completed while at UNC Chapel Hill. Dr. Geisler also completed training for complex facial abnormalities in Aarhus, Denmark.
Dr. Geisler has earned awards and honors over the past 25 years that could fill a book, but the heart of her practice and the backbone of all she does is grounded in her passion for mission work and providing for those living in poverty.
